If you are working with a short sale file with US Bank you may want to refrain from faxing information to them until the problem below is fixed…

It turns out that the fax numbers 1-866-354-8133 and 1-866-350-6299 (which is a US Bank fax number for loss mitigation) is being forwarded to 520-622-0464. This is a trucking company in Tucson, AZ. The lady that works there, Jasmine, called us because ours was the only file with a cover page and contact information. Apparently their fax has been receiving all of the short sale packages that are being submitted to US Bank. They can’t unplug the fax because that is how they receive trucking orders.

This means that this company is receiving short sale packages that contain US Bank customers social security numbers, birthdates, signatures, addresses, account numbers, etc. NOT GOOD!

When Jasmine call US Bank about this, customer service keeps hanging up on her! Unbelievable!

I hope this is has been resolved!!! I just faxed info to that number at the request of a US Bank “default counseling” department regarding a foreclosure situation. this department is very difficult to get a hold of, either long hold times, or recording simply tells you to try later.
